Woo

So, for those of you that don't know, I have been accepted into the London Metropolitan University.
They changed my course to Mathematics, Electronics and Computing, so I did some research and the courses looked pretty cool, so I decided to go with it.

Today though, I got a letter saying that I didn't meet the requirements for that course, so they were putting me in Science, Electronics and Computing, which just fucking rocks. I've never been so great with math, so this is excellent. It's a foundation course, so I'm in University for an extra year than most people. Because I'm entering with just a US High School Diploma I don't qualify for normal classes, so by taking the foundation year I earn the right, nay, the privilege, of entering normal courses in UK Universities.

In slightly more geeky news, I've downloaded Fedora Core 4, and I am in the process of acquiring Slackware 10.1 and Free BSD 5.4. I'll probably install Fedora but I've been told that Slackware and Free BSD are good too, so considering I have two spare computers I might as well but that BEAST of a Pentium 1 to good use as well.
